Responsibilities

Implement and optimize UI systems for XR environments, including HUDs and interactive elements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to establish project priorities and expectations.
Write clean, maintainable C++ code focused on performance and reusability.
Develop robust UI frameworks that integrate with an internal game engine.
Analyze and optimize memory and performance for scalable UI systems.
Provide technical feedback during the design phase for optimal performance.
Implement UI animations and interactive behaviors to enhance user experience.
Create technical specifications to bridge design documentation and engineering implementation.
Support customer meetings and demonstrations, explaining technical capabilities.

Excellent C++ skills and understanding of software engineering principles.
5+ years of experience in programming UI/UX systems for games or simulations.
3+ years of experience with game engines focusing on UI implementation.
Experience working with large codebases to solve complex problems.
Solid understanding of 3D math and spatial UI positioning.
Full project lifecycle experience from concept to production.
Strong portfolio demonstrating shipped UI systems in interactive applications.
Proven experience with data-dense UI systems and complex state management.
Experience with shader programming and rendering optimization.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with designers and engineers.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, autonomous startup environment.
Eligible for a U.S. Secret security clearance.
