Responsibilities
- Design and develop ETRM integrations and interfaces between the ETRM platform and upstream or downstream applications.
- Build REST APIs, services, batch processes, and event-driven integrations using .NET/C#, messaging, and integration technologies.
- Implement data mappings, transformations, validation, error handling, logging, reconciliation, and monitoring mechanisms.
- Support SIT/UAT, integration testing, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with ETRM developers, business analysts, architects, infrastructure and cloud teams, and external vendors throughout implementation and cutover.
Requirements
- 5–6+ years of software development experience with strong proficiency in C#, .NET/.NET Core, and object-oriented development.
- Strong experience with REST/SOAP APIs, web services, messaging, event-driven architectures, batch/file interfaces, and integration patterns.
- Strong SQL Server and SQL skills, including data modeling, stored procedures, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Experience delivering enterprise integrations in complex environments; ETRM or commodity trading experience with Endur, Allegro, RightAngle, or similar is strongly preferred.
- Experience with software engineering practices including source control, automated testing, logging/monitoring, security, documentation, and Agile delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- ETRM product certifications and experience in energy, commodities trading, oil and gas, power, natural gas, or LNG are preferred.
