Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of secure, scalable, resilient integration services.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership, guidance, mentoring, and coaching to engineering teams.
- Design, deliver, deploy, and support microservices-based solutions in containerized environments.
- Integrate AI-assisted engineering outputs into broader solution architectures responsibly.
- Define and uphold non-functional requirements covering security, auditability, reliability, performance, scalability, resilience, compliance, and operational readiness.
- Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, and delivery teams to translate complex requirements into effective solutions.
- Conduct peer and code reviews and maintain engineering governance and delivery standards.
- Drive observability, monitoring, logging, supportability, and operational excellence.
- Coordinate interfaces and processing capabilities across multiple business-critical enterprise systems.
- Promote continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, innovation, and AI-enabled engineering practices.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience in backend software engineering and enterprise application development.
- Experience designing, delivering, deploying, and supporting scalable microservices-based solutions using OpenShift and Kubernetes.
- Experience leading development teams or pods, mentoring engineers, and driving technical excellence.
- Ability to conduct rigorous code reviews and maintain high engineering quality standards.
- Strong understanding of secure, high-throughput data integration, messaging architectures, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience building and operating observable, supportable, auditable, enterprise-grade solutions.
- Practical experience with monitoring, logging, auditing, and observability approaches.
- Experience working in complex regulated environments, ideally financial services.
- Knowledge of financial instruments, particularly structured products and derivatives.
- Experience integrating enterprise platforms such as Avaloq, Salesforce, LexiFi, BlackRock Aladdin, or Charles River.
- Awareness of AI-enabled software engineering practices and their responsible application.
- Relevant expertise in modern application delivery, containerization, integration, and cloud-based engineering.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
