Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, install, and support application systems and programs.
- Design secure RESTful APIs and implement backend solutions using Java and related frameworks.
- Write SQL and work with Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server relational databases.
- Analyze code and applications, identify vulnerabilities, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions.
- Write and execute unit and integration tests and perform debugging.
- Use Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, CI/CD pipelines, and Bash scripting for deployment and automation.
- Troubleshoot applications using Splunk, ELK, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups and recommend programming solutions.
- Coach new or lower-level analysts and act as a subject matter expert for stakeholders.
- Assess and manage technology, compliance, security, and operational risks.
Requirements
- 3 to 6 years of experience with Java 17/21, Spring Boot 3.x, JPA, and Hibernate.
- Strong experience designing secure RESTful APIs using JSON and OpenAPI/Swagger.
- Proficiency with Oracle or MSSQL, hands-on SQL writing, and relational database concepts.
- Hands-on experience writing unit and integration tests with JUnit 5.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in UNIX/Linux shell scripting, particularly Bash, for automation.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with Splunk, ELK, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments within distributed global teams.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, relationship-building, and internal customer-management skills.
