Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy high-quality Python applications and APIs.
- Design and manage scalable serverless microservices on Google Cloud Run.
- Build and maintain Dialogflow CX or ES webhooks with fulfillment logic and backend integrations.
- Use Google Cloud services including Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Firestore for event-driven architectures and data management.
- Collaborate with product managers, conversational designers, and engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ship tested features incrementally, improve code quality and product experience, and identify development-process improvements.
- Mentor and teach other software engineers and influence the team’s technical and product vision.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional software development experience.
- Intermediate to advanced Python proficiency with experience using Pandas and Flask.
- Hands-on experience with Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Scheduler.
- Experience with Docker containers, encryption mechanisms, microservices, API development, and Swagger documentation.
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as Firestore and MongoDB and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MySQL.
- Experience with conversational agents and prompting techniques.
- Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and experience with Agile-Scrum environments using Jira and Confluence.
- Strong stakeholder relationships and a proactive attitude.
- Preferred: Dialogflow CX configuration, BigQuery, machine learning concepts, and advanced design patterns.
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
