Guidewire Architect- Intergration
Guidewire SoftwareResponsibilities
- Lead end-to-end architecture for complex InsuranceSuite implementations across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, and surrounding systems.
- Define scalable, cloud-ready, and upgrade-safe integration and solution designs on Guidewire Cloud.
- Provide design authority, govern critical technical decisions, and ensure alignment with Guidewire best practices and reference architectures.
- Partner with customers, product teams, and delivery leads to apply AI-enabled methods, automation, accelerators, and reusable delivery patterns.
- Review code approaches, performance considerations, data models, security, resilience, and operational efficiency.
- Mentor and coach consultants and engineers in InsuranceSuite architecture, cloud patterns, and modern engineering practices.
- Contribute to reusable assets, templates, methodologies, and services-led innovation.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience architecting and delivering Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and/or ClaimCenter solutions, ideally including cloud implementations and large-scale transformations.
- Strong enterprise application architecture background with integration patterns such as REST APIs, messaging, and batch in SaaS or cloud environments.
- Ability to lead technical direction on large, multi-stakeholder programs and communicate technical trade-offs clearly.
- Proficiency with core InsuranceSuite technologies including Java, Gosu, relational databases, and integration middleware, plus familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Proven experience mentoring and upskilling engineers or consultants with a focus on quality, automation, and engineering excellence.
- Demonstrated ability to apply AI and data-driven insights to improve innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- 10+ years of overall software or solution architecture experience, including significant Guidewire implementation experience, is preferred.
- Experience with AI- or automation-based accelerators, P&C insurance domains, and consulting or Professional Services delivery is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
