Base Salary
$169k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect scalable, production-grade AI/ML, generative AI, and agentic AI systems across the enterprise.
- Design autonomous agents, multi-agent orchestration, LLM routing, RAG pipelines, memory systems, and tool or function-calling patterns.
- Provide consulting expertise to division and domain architects and help establish an enterprise AI solutions architecture practice.
- Lead technology proofs of concept, hands-on prototypes, architecture alignment, and technology transformation initiatives.
- Develop architecture priorities, target states, roadmaps, and communications aligned with business strategy.
- Establish AI governance, risk, control, ethics, bias mitigation, and responsible deployment practices.
- Track AI platform and foundation-model roadmaps, emerging autonomous systems, and competitive landscape developments.
- Collaborate with senior Technology and Business leaders, mentor teams, build consensus, and promote knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related STEM or technology field, or equivalent education and/or work experience.
- At least 7 additional years of architecture or software engineering experience and 2 years of technical leadership experience.
- 8 to 10 years of architecture experience and advanced architecture capability with recent hands-on engineering experience.
- Proven experience executing complex, large-scale technology strategies and defining scalable, production-grade AI systems.
- Hands-on expertise in AI/ML development and deployment, including machine learning algorithms, neural networks, optimization, linear algebra, statistics, and probability.
- Experience with MLOps, AI operations, CI/CD pipelines, cloud AI services, multimodal AI, autonomous systems, reinforcement learning, and decision-making frameworks.
- Experience with generative AI foundations including transformer architectures, LLMs, diffusion models, VAEs, GANs, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and RLHF.
- Experience with agentic patterns, API integration, memory systems, RAG, vector databases, multi-agent orchestration, MCP, and Agent2Agent.
- Hands-on or working experience with LangChain, Strands, Crew AI, AWS Bedrock and AgentCore; Azure Foundry, Agent 365, or GCP/Gemini AI experience is optional.
- Experience with AI governance, model risk management, AI ethics, bias mitigation, EU AI Act, GDPR, and related responsible AI practices.
- Advanced leadership, communication, strategic planning, collaboration, mentoring, decision-making, and organizational influence skills.
- Insurance technology or insurance industry experience is preferred.
