Responsibilities
- Provide consulting for the implementation of Microsoft-based data platform solutions.
- Design and build data warehouses, data marts, data lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data streams.
- Propose data platform solutions addressing customers’ business and management challenges.
- Manage and reliably drive multiple projects.
- Conduct proposal and delivery activities for external customers.
- Support business development and presales activities in the data solutions domain.
- Travel domestically and internationally depending on the project.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience building data warehouses, data marts, data lakes, or other data platforms.
- At least three years of experience building ETL/ELT data pipelines or data streams.
- At least three years of experience using SQL, Python, or similar data manipulation languages.
- Ability to propose solutions using current products and contribute to growing Avanade’s data platform business.
- Ability to manage and consistently drive multiple projects.
- At least one year of experience proposing and delivering data platform solutions to external customers.
- Business-level Japanese proficiency equivalent to JLPT N1.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure data platform services, cloud systems, SQL Server, data platform development tools, or alternative data platform products is preferred.
- Knowledge of Lambda and Kappa architecture patterns, agile/Scrum development, data analysis and requirements definition is preferred.
- Experience with data solutions presales and business-level English is preferred.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications, including Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate, Fabric Data Engineer Associate, Azure Data Engineering, or Azure Developer, are preferred.
