Base Salary

$135k - $218k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design experiences and systems for contextualizing large amounts of telemetry data.
  • Leverage LLM and ML infrastructure to build innovative customer features.
  • Shape the architecture of a rapidly scaling observability platform.
  • Improve performance, reliability, and cost efficiency of distributed systems.
  • Improve the company’s internal system observability using its own product.
  • Own and execute projects from inception to delivery.
  • Collaborate with technical teammates, customers, and cross-functional partners.
  • Mentor engineers and help maintain engineering standards.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with one or more backend languages such as Go, Java, Python, or Rust.
  • Experience using AI coding assistants such as Cursor or Claude in daily software development.
  • Experience building and operating highly available systems in production.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Experience designing APIs using REST, gRPC, or GraphQL for scale.
  • Experience working autonomously, exercising good judgment, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional partners.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote-first environment.

Benefits

  • Remote role with a remote-first working environment.
  • Annual base salary range of $134,600.00-$217,800.00.
  • Benefits information is available through the employer; compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus.
