Base Salary
$202k - $246k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test software applications using the company technology stack.
- Build software components that integrate into fully functional software systems.
- Architect and support high-scale backend, data, and distributed systems.
- Evaluate complex data, developments, and projects and recommend solutions to technical issues.
- Debug, monitor, optimize, and resolve production issues affecting product and system reliability.
- Support business operations and improve engineering productivity.
- Own projects end-to-end from design documentation through production support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience with C++, Java, Scala, Go, or Python.
- Backend experience with data engineering, data pipelines, big data systems, data science, SQL, and analytics.
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms, technology stack design, distributed systems, and the Software Development Lifecycle.
- Experience with debugging, monitoring, and optimizing production services.
- Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL relational databases.
