Responsibilities
- Ship production-ready code daily across systems for claims, legal automation, global payouts, flight-disruption protection, travel products, and partner APIs.
- Design and scale services for performance, uptime, and maintainability.
- Improve developer velocity through tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
- Influence architecture and lead initiatives to modernize or optimize critical platform components.
- Mentor peers and promote engineering standards through code reviews, testing, and documentation.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- Strong skills in at least one core technology: Ruby/Rails, Golang, Python, Node, React, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Experience across the software development lifecycle, including production deployment and monitoring.
- Strong unit, integration, and end-to-end testing discipline.
- Experience in cloud-based environments, especially AWS.
- Clear communication, constructive feedback, and an ownership-focused approach.
