Responsibilities
- Own cryptographic systems, protocols, or blockchain infrastructure for your domain.
- Design and implement secure, compliant crypto infrastructure.
- Think adversarially and conduct threat modeling.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Lead security reviews and enforce code quality processes.
- Collaborate with security, compliance, and product teams.
- Mentor peers on crypto engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Track record of building and operating cryptographic systems or secure financial systems.
- Deep understanding of cryptographic primitives and key management.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals with experience in relevant programming languages.
- Experience designing systems with an adversarial mindset.
- Understanding of financial regulation as it applies to crypto.
- Demonstrated ability to make high-stakes engineering decisions.
- Experience collaborating with security and compliance teams.
