Responsibilities
- Lead the technical direction for critical backend systems.
- Make impactful changes to the codebase quickly.
- Shape job and code execution processes within the application.
- Write and review high-quality, well-tested code.
- Identify and implement improvements in the codebase and team processes.
- Own the software solutions you develop and respond to customer feedback.
- Mentor other engineers and support their growth.
Requirements
- Typically 10+ years of experience as a professional software engineer.
- Expertise in Linux systems, including namespaces and process isolation.
- Experience with container runtimes and orchestration platforms.
- Knowledge of filesystem and storage, including POSIX behavior.
- Experience in building low-level system primitives in Rust or Go.
- Strong debugging skills for complex issues.
- Ability to work across the tech stack and pitch in where needed.
