Responsibilities
- Investigate customer processes, data, systems, and user needs and translate ambiguous problems into requirements, success criteria, and an initial deliverable.
- Build and validate GenAI solutions using LLMs, RAG, agents, and conventional software components.
- Develop production code, APIs, data flows, authentication, and integrations with existing customer applications and systems.
- Bring solutions reliably into production through automated testing, evaluations, security, CI/CD, monitoring, and logging.
- Work directly with users, domain experts, security officers, architects, consultants, and customer teams.
- Collect feedback, measure quality and usage, support technical adoption and stabilization, and turn recurring patterns into reusable components and evaluation frameworks.
Requirements
- Strong software-engineering foundation with experience building working software, including APIs, integrations, version control, and testing.
- Experience with or demonstrable interest in LLMs, RAG, evaluation, and agentic workflows, together with judgment about when conventional software logic is more appropriate.
- Ability to turn unclear customer problems into an initial working solution and improve it using real data and user feedback.
- Ability and motivation to work directly with customers and end users and explain technical decisions clearly.
- Responsibility for quality, security, privacy, reliability, deployment, usage, stabilization, and Responsible AI.
- Academic or HBO-level education in a technical field, or an equivalent level developed through experience.
- Strong English communication skills; Dutch is important for many assignments.
- Experience with every listed technology is not required; personal projects, open-source work, research, internships, startup experience, and non-standard career paths are welcomed.
