Responsibilities
- Develop detailed end-to-end solution architectures and blueprints for complex Wealth Management applications, platforms, and interfaces.
- Translate business and technical requirements into designs and act as the lead technical authority for programs and projects.
- Define target-state architectures while considering current-state constraints, enterprise standards, security, scalability, and strategic direction.
- Lead collaboration and decision-making across business, technology, architecture, infrastructure, security, application development, and third-party stakeholders.
- Direct data and AI strategy implementation and data architecture for assigned projects.
- Establish reusable agent design patterns covering prompting, orchestration, memory, tool usage, and escalation paths.
- Evaluate when to use agentic AI versus deterministic automation and provide technical leadership for strategic initiatives.
- Manage multiple priorities, remove obstacles, and lead large cross-functional technical teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or another BA/BS degree with a concentration in computer science or information systems, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience leading solutions architecture for large initiatives, preferably in Wealth Management.
- Advanced knowledge of web application architecture and security patterns, including OAuth, SSO, and SAML.
- Advanced knowledge of SOA, microservices, REST, SOAP, cloud-native applications, event-driven architecture, and modern and legacy technology platforms.
- Experience designing resilient enterprise applications across on-premises and cloud computing environments.
- Proven experience building and deploying agentic AI solutions, including multi-agent systems, orchestration frameworks, and tool-using agents.
- Strong written, oral, presentation, and cross-functional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated leadership capability and experience influencing technical direction across large cross-functional teams.
- Preferred qualifications include data architecture experience, distributed databases, database tuning, data modeling, Wealth Management experience, AI risk and model governance knowledge, explainability frameworks, and Data Lakehouse methodology.
