Base Salary

$147k - $261k/yr

Responsibilities

Translate business and product requirements into end-to-end solution designs across frontend and backend services.
Design microservice and API architectures using Domain-Driven Design principles.
Architect event-driven integrations with Azure Service Bus, including schemas, topics, subscriptions, and error handling.
Establish engineering standards and best practices across React, .NET, and Python teams.
Embed security, scalability, resiliency, and observability requirements into solution designs.
Lead architecture and design reviews for features, technical initiatives, and third-party integrations.
Maintain architecture decision records, high-level design documents, and OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineering leads on technical roadmaps.
Mentor senior engineers and conduct design and code reviews.

8+ years of software engineering or architecture experience.
At least 4 years of experience in a solution architect role on complex, multi-service platforms.
Expertise designing microservices architectures and RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
Deep hands-on experience with React and .NET and/or Python.
Strong experience with Azure services, including Azure Service Bus, Azure API Management, Azure Kubernetes Service, and Azure DevOps.
Advanced knowledge of Domain-Driven Design, CQRS, Event Sourcing, and distributed systems patterns.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Kubernetes container orchestration, and DevSecOps practices.
Working knowledge of OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0, and fine-grained authorization in multi-tenant SaaS environments.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and experience presenting designs to senior technology stakeholders.
Professional services or B2B SaaS product experience is advantageous.
