Base Salary
$150k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end product features from requirements and design through production deployment.
- Design APIs and data models and implement frontend and backend code.
- Ship user-facing experiences while balancing usability and performance and iterating based on feedback and metrics.
- Integrate LLM and AI capabilities into core product flows.
- Build and maintain scalable backend services, data schemas, monitoring, observability, automated testing, and deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate with founders, product, and design to prioritize work and define success metrics.
- Contribute to architecture and roadmap discussions and make pragmatic tradeoffs for early-stage growth.
Requirements
- Requires 2–8 years of software engineering experience and a record of shipping user-facing products.
- Strong full-stack proficiency with TypeScript, React/Next.js, and Python or Node.js.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and at least one major cloud platform, AWS or GCP.
- Production-grade experience integrating LLMs or other AI services, with an engineering rather than research focus.
- Demonstrated product ownership and ability to translate user problems into measurable, shipped solutions.
- Ability to work in small teams with limited process, high ambiguity, and fluid role boundaries.
- Experience implementing monitoring, observability, automated testing, and CI/CD for production systems.
- Meaningful startup experience and evidence of rapid progression or notable impact.
- Preferred experience includes multi-tenant or enterprise-ready systems, real-time or high-throughput applications, or regulated industries such as healthcare, fintech, or legal.
Benefits
- Salary of $150,000–$300,000 USD per year plus likely equity.
