Base Salary
$100k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design enterprise-scale AI architectures, multi-agent ecosystems, context-engineering frameworks, and knowledge-orchestration solutions.
- Define governance models, guardrails, autonomy boundaries, escalation controls, and human oversight mechanisms for agentic AI systems.
- Architect responsible AI frameworks covering bias mitigation, explainability, model transparency, ethical adoption, and audit trails.
- Lead client architecture workshops, executive design reviews, AI delivery lifecycle governance, and reusable architecture patterns.
- Design regulated AI decision systems with compliance controls, governance checkpoints, monitoring, and observability.
- Advise clients and internal leaders on AI strategy, architecture standards, innovation roadmaps, and industry best practices.
- Mentor architects, AI engineers, and enterprise technology leaders and contribute to Cognizant AI intellectual property.
Requirements
- 7–15 years of overall IT experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in enterprise architecture, AI architecture, or digital transformation leadership roles.
- Proven experience designing and deploying enterprise-scale AI and Generative AI solutions.
- Experience leading large-scale technology transformation programs across multiple business domains.
- Strong experience working directly with executive stakeholders and client architecture boards.
- Expertise in Agentic AI, Generative AI, AI functional architecture, enterprise architecture, responsible AI, LLMs, RAG, multi-agent systems, AI governance and compliance, cloud-native AI architectures, and AI platform strategy.
- Experience with enterprise digital transformation, AI strategy and governance, regulated business processes, and human-in-the-loop AI systems.
- Preferred experience in financial services, healthcare and life sciences, insurance, regulatory technology, cloud platforms, AI security and risk management, and MLOps or AI operations.
