Responsibilities
- Coordinate and facilitate the development, implementation, onboarding, operation, and maintenance of digital solutions.
- Design, configure, integrate, and implement software applications for process control solutions and field instrumentation diagnostics.
- Develop and configure Asset Monitors, including conditions, sub-conditions, input/output records, and parameter mapping.
- Collect, preprocess, load, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources; build data models using BI tools and query Industry Cognitive Models and Data Lakes.
- Design and implement secure, scalable reporting dashboards and analytical web applications.
- Collaborate with SMEs, customers, and cross-functional teams to deliver Agile proof-of-concepts, final deployments, proposals, and industry-specific value propositions.
- Supervise a small team performing DCS, PLC, SIS, and package control system tasks.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of total Control & Instrumentation experience in process, power, manufacturing, chemical, oil and gas, refinery, petrochemical, or related consulting industries.
- B.Tech or M.Tech in Instrumentation & Control or Electronics Engineering.
- Practical exposure to DCS, Historians, SCADA, and plant instrumentation.
- Experience with DCS platforms including ABB 800xA, PLCs, field-instrumentation configuration, and control-system device integration.
- Knowledge of fieldbus topology, device parameterization, commissioning, diagnostics, and HART, Modbus, and OPC communication protocols.
- Experience in software and hardware design, DCS logic development, graphic-builder configuration, library development, functional documentation, and DCS hardware testing.
- Ability to work independently and supervise a small technical team.
- Clear oral and written English communication skills and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
