Responsibilities
- Execute manual API and web tests and support automation coverage using Playwright.
- Design and execute test cases based on requirements and user stories.
- Document test evidence and track execution in Jira and Xray.
- Report bugs with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
- Collaborate with QA, development, and product stakeholders to ensure deliverable quality.
- Contribute a quality-focused perspective in Scrum and Kanban ceremonies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of software testing fundamentals, testing types, black-box and white-box techniques, acceptance criteria, and the Testing Pyramid.
- Experience with API testing and hands-on experience with Postman.
- Knowledge of Playwright or the ability and willingness to learn it quickly.
- Basic knowledge of Git, VS Code, SQL, and programming logic.
- Familiarity with Jira and Xray or TestRail for test case management and traceability.
- Knowledge of data-related roles through internships or academic projects is accepted.
- Fluent Portuguese is required; English proficiency is desirable and Spanish is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, collaboration, and adaptability skills.
