Responsibilities
- Work directly with customer process owners and IT teams to select workflows, define success criteria, and obtain the access and data needed for development.
- Lead hands-on customer sessions, explain product capabilities and limitations, and connect technical results to business outcomes.
- Write custom JavaScript tools and debug failures across browser behavior, agent execution, application state, and backend services.
- Build tests covering business outcomes, exceptions, partial completion, and recovery.
- Launch and stabilize workflows while documenting monitoring, recovery procedures, and support ownership.
- Convert deployment lessons into reusable tools and tests and work with core engineering to resolve recurring product gaps.
- Use AI development tools while maintaining accountability for code quality, security, and maintainability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Ability to write and debug JavaScript or TypeScript and reason about web applications, APIs, and data flow.
- Experience independently shipping and operating production software, diagnosing failures, and improving systems afterward.
- Ability to work directly with users, ask precise questions, build alongside them, and explain technical problems clearly.
- Helpful experience includes Playwright, browser automation, browser extensions, RPA, or enterprise integration.
- Helpful experience with agent systems, tool execution, evaluations, or failure recovery.
- Helpful experience with SAP, Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, or similarly complex enterprise applications.
- Helpful experience in forward-deployed engineering or customer-facing product development.
