Responsibilities
- Design and build end-to-end features across pricing services.
- Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews, and improvements to quality, reliability, scalability, security, and observability.
- Own project technical roadmaps and deliverables through long-term iteration and delivery.
- Lead incident resolution and post-incident reviews for minor and major incidents.
- Partner with product, compliance, and stakeholder teams to shape requirements and priorities.
- Mentor and coach engineers and own onboarding for new team members.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering background with significant contributions to large, impactful projects in complex production environments.
- Experience with Java or a similar object-oriented programming language.
- Expertise in the technical discipline and ability to design systems for long-term iteration and scale.
- Ability to own the availability, reliability, and security of systems built.
- Ability to balance delivery speed, scalability, and risk while maintaining a predictable delivery cadence.
- Ability to explain customer problems, product rationale, and expected impact.
- Clear communication with technical and non-technical audiences and effective feedback skills.
- Preferred experience in payments, fintech, globally distributed teams, compliance, audit, regulatory requirements such as SOX, fee disclosure, or tax, and configuration-heavy domains.
