Responsibilities
- Own enterprise API adoption features including usage insights, cost and consumption controls, and governance tooling.
- Build enterprise governance and compliance capabilities including roles, permissions, projects, data residency, and auditability.
- Own services end-to-end through production operations, API on-call participation, incident response, monitoring, contract testing, and SLOs.
- Architect and deliver cohesive enterprise capabilities across technical and organizational dependencies and multiple stakeholder teams.
Requirements
- Deep expertise designing scalable backend systems, RESTful APIs, and distributed architectures primarily with C#/.NET.
- Production experience with high-scale distributed systems and strong API design and system design fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise API building blocks including MCP, CLIs, and OAuth.
- Track record of leading projects across multiple teams and managing cross-team contracts and dependencies.
- Experience with production operations, incident response, on-call responsibilities, comprehensive testing, and reliability improvement.
- Ability to use AI-powered development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or GitHub Copilot.
- Preferred experience includes zero-downtime migrations, metering, quota or usage-data systems, and compliance environments such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or C5.
- Frontend experience with React and TypeScript is a plus.
