Responsibilities
- Build and enhance capital markets products and front-office trading technology.
- Develop server-side software using Core Java and JVM technologies.
- Work on financial systems involving e-trading, FIX, OMS/EMS, and exchange platforms.
- Solve complex technical problems in cloud-based and event-driven environments.
- Collaborate with engineering colleagues, share knowledge, and participate in pair programming during the interview process.
Requirements
- Significant professional experience in server-side software development.
- Solid Core Java programming experience; exposure to Java 25 or later is a plus.
- Experience developing front-office financial systems, e-trading, and FIX.
- Experience delivering OMS, EMS, or exchange systems.
- Exposure to equities trading and brokerage.
- Familiarity with data structures including sets, hashes, and caches.
- Knowledge of dependency injection or inversion of control.
- Exposure to WebSocket.
- Experience working in Agile environments such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Fintech industry experience and strong collaborative communication skills.
