Responsibilities
- Develop the control plane for a cloud DBaaS platform.
- Build highly scalable distributed systems.
- Operate database engine controls for provisioning, scaling, and backups.
- Create telemetry and logging systems for proactive alerts.
- Orchestrate complex workflows for various database engines.
- Automate operations related to database engine maintenance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Experience with cloud-scale distributed systems, particularly in data and OLTP databases.
- Proficiency in Golang and gRPC.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and deployment pipelines.
- Preferred experience with orchestration engines like Temporal and MongoDB.
