Responsibilities
- Provide technical direction and mentorship to the engineering team.
- Design, build, and optimize systems for processing post-trade data.
- Drive strategic data projects and integrate modern technologies.
- Develop new products and features on the Gemini platform.
- Review code for correctness and security concerns.
- Write automated tests and oversee system functionality.
- Manage resolution efforts on data bottlenecks and technical issues.
- Plan and coordinate project implementation efforts.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of software engineering experience.
- Advanced proficiency in at least one backend language, preferably Scala or C++.
- Hands-on experience in the big data ecosystem with frameworks like Apache Flink and Spark.
- Ability to work across cross-functional teams and manage complex dependencies.
- Customer and product-focused mindset balancing speed and quality.
