Base Salary
$186k - $219k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate developer infrastructure services for CI, build systems, deployment orchestration, and test infrastructure.
- Improve build and CI time, deployment speed and safety, and test feedback quality.
- Own services through architecture, observability, SLOs, on-call operations, and production delivery.
- Partner with engineering teams to identify pain points and deliver platform improvements.
- Lead technical design for cross-cutting projects and drive them through production.
- Mentor engineers and help shape the technical direction of the platform.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and operating production software.
- Strong distributed systems fundamentals and proficiency in Go or a similar language.
- Experience shipping high-impact backend or platform systems from design through production.
- Strong operational instincts focused on reliability, security, and observability.
- Experience in developer infrastructure or platform domains such as build systems, release tooling, test infrastructure, or developer productivity.
- Experience operating at scale with Kubernetes, AWS, GitHub Actions, Terraform, and containers.
- Depth in build systems, remote execution, progressive delivery, or test optimization.
- Experience with observability and performance tooling such as Datadog.
- Ability to communicate clearly, drive projects independently, collaborate across teams, and maintain a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to use generative AI responsibly with human oversight.
