Base Salary
$265k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead major product features end to end, including problem definition, system design, implementation, deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
- Design and implement enterprise-grade backend services, APIs, data models, and user-facing frontend experiences.
- Create reusable abstractions and systems that improve product velocity.
- Own the quality, security, availability, and performance of team-owned systems.
- Drive technical decisions within the team and influence adjacent teams.
- Respond to incidents, resolve bottlenecks, and eliminate recurring operational toil.
- Deliver software through peer review, continuous integration, and automated testing.
- Mentor senior and mid-level engineers and provide technical guidance and standards.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 10–12 years of software engineering experience shipping and operating production systems at scale.
- Strong full-stack expertise across modern frontend and backend development.
- Track record leading complex, multi-quarter initiatives from inception through launch.
- Strong system design skills in data modeling, API design, scalability, security, and reliability.
- Ability to elevate teams through mentorship, code review, and technical standards.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration with Product and Design.
- Preferred experience with multi-tenant enterprise SaaS, SSO, RBAC, audit logging, and availability SLAs.
- Preferred familiarity with Kotlin, TypeScript, React, AWS, and Kubernetes.
- Preferred experience building platform features or integrations, working in high-growth environments, or partnering with security teams.
- Preferred familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, service mesh, advanced networking, multi-region architectures, or AI-assisted operational workflows.
