Responsibilities
- Own complex features end-to-end across presentation and data layers.
- Convert Figma design mockups into fully native Android screens.
- Make architecture decisions and lead the safe refactoring of legacy code.
- Design clean APIs and scalable module boundaries across a large codebase.
- Write organized, maintainable, and reusable software within the existing architecture.
- Champion testing, performance, accessibility, and application security.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of the Android SDK and application lifecycle.
- Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience working with databases and consuming APIs.
- Experience writing maintainable and reusable software and identifying when refactoring is needed.
- Knowledge of dependency injection with Dagger2 or Hilt.
- Knowledge of reactive programming with RxJava and/or Coroutines and Flow.
- Experience with Jetpack Compose and modern declarative UI.
- Knowledge of modular and clean architecture at scale.
- Familiarity with MVP and MVVM presentation patterns.
- Experience with local persistence using Realm.
- Experience with automated unit, instrumentation, and screenshot testing.
