Responsibilities
- Build a robust indoor SLAM system that fuses LiDAR, camera, IMU, and odometry data.
- Develop software pipelines and processes for multi-sensor calibration.
- Collaborate with perception and motion planning engineers on indoor navigation and collision avoidance.
- Work with controls engineers to support safe, smooth, and natural robot motions.
Requirements
- Experience with vision-only or LiDAR-based SLAM pipelines.
- Deep understanding of 3D rotation representations, frame transformations, and camera projections.
- Familiarity with multi-sensor time-synchronization methods.
- Experience writing production-quality software in Python or C++.
- Experience building production-grade SLAM systems in autonomous driving, AR/VR, or robotics is preferred.
- Familiarity with GTSAM is preferred.
- Experience with motion-capture systems is preferred.
