Responsibilities
- Contribute to architecture, technical scopes of work, and solution descriptions for customer projects.
- Support internal teams from offer commencement through final solution delivery and customer acceptance.
- Define physical and logical solution architectures and allocate system requirements and functionality to subsystems and system elements.
- Analyze alternative solutions, identify technical risks and issues, and develop mitigation plans.
- Develop system and solution requirements, use cases, acceptance criteria, and requirements analyses.
- Develop end-to-end solution architectures and support high-level designs across multiple technology domains.
- Provide and review high-level designs, low-level designs, and interface specifications.
- Conduct project and supplier risk assessments with project and technical project management teams.
- Maintain traceability across customer, system, subsystem, architecture, design, and verification requirements.
- Ensure technical accuracy of the design solution and support end-to-end implementation and acceptance.
Requirements
- Engineering bachelor's degree and 12 years of experience in the telecom industry.
- Experience with IP-MPLS and BNG technologies and residential broadband solutions such as BNG, BNS CUPS, FWA-BNG, CGNAT, and WAG.
- Detailed understanding of IP/MPLS, SRv6, Segment Routing, BGP EVPN, and related technologies.
- Knowledge of virtualization, SDN, NFV, cloud, network management systems, networking, data center fabric, and data center automation.
- Experience designing end-to-end mobile networks, backhaul, and core solutions, including 4G/5G mobile core deployments.
- Strong Linux/Unix shell and data center networking knowledge, with hands-on design, build, deployment, troubleshooting, and fault-finding experience.
- Fluent written and verbal English communication and Singapore citizenship or permanent residence.
- Kubernetes, VMware ESXi, vCloud/vCenter, OpenStack, CloudStack, OpenFlow, KVM, Xen, Hyper-V, Nokia IP Router and BNG portfolios, relevant certifications, RHEL/CentOS, Ubuntu, Java, and Python/Perl are advantageous.
- Demonstrated customer focus, analytical problem-solving, presentation skills, flexibility, and commitment to continuous learning.
