Principal, Industry Solution Engineer - Insurance

Responsibilities
- Lead discovery sessions and workshops with enterprise insurance organizations to understand their challenges and goals.
- Build trusted relationships with senior executives and business and technology decision-makers.
- Develop and deliver differentiated custom solution concepts, presentations, visions, and roadmaps aligned with customer business value.
- Coordinate the full solution cycle by orchestrating internal and external technical and business resources.
- Present Salesforce and partner solutions and clearly articulate their benefits to stakeholders from frontline staff through C-level executives.
- Collaborate with product and partner teams to address regional priorities.
- Support customers and sales teams as a trusted advisor throughout transformational journeys.
- Travel occasionally as required.
Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
- Experience developing and delivering custom software solutions and technical presentations to key decision-makers.
- A track record of success in solution engineering, consultancy, delivery, or training for a software-solution organization.
- Deep expertise in the insurance industry.
- Understanding of cloud computing, SFA, service and support, marketing, and mobile solutions.
- Knowledge of related applications, relational databases, and web technology.
- Business-case and value-engineering experience.
- Exposure to design thinking, consulting methodologies, and enterprise architecture is advantageous.
- Strong communication, presentation, collaboration, interpersonal, relationship-building, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Ability to translate customer requirements into compelling visions and roadmaps and to orchestrate complex sales cycles.
