Responsibilities
- Partner with GTM leadership, Account Executives, and account teams to design and execute engagement strategies across the assigned territory.
- Build technical credibility with stakeholders as a Lakebase expert and champion to drive product adoption and vision.
- Develop and deliver workshops, presentations, demos, and customer-facing collateral.
- Translate field-derived, data-driven insights into roadmap recommendations for Product and Engineering teams.
- Serve as the tier-3 escalation point for complex technical challenges in mission-critical customer environments.
- Collaborate with GSIs and third-party consulting organizations to drive customer outcomes.
Requirements
- 10+ years of transactional database (OLTP) expertise across engineering, product development, administration, and pre-sales, including a track record of designing and delivering client-facing solutions.
- 6+ years of customer-facing, pre-sales, or consulting experience influencing technical executives and driving data strategy and product adoption.
- Experience architecting transactional data integrations with Big Data, Lakehouse, and AI ecosystems.
- Infrastructure, platform, and administration expertise in disaster recovery, high availability, backup and recovery, scale-out methods, identity and security management, and migrations.
- Experience collaborating with Global System Integrators and third-party consulting organizations.
- Proficiency in programming, debugging, and problem-solving with SQL and Python.
- Hands-on experience building solutions in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Broad experience in at least two of data engineering, data warehousing, AI, ML, governance, transactional systems, application development, and streaming.
- Undergraduate degree or higher in a technical field such as Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
- Ability to drive complex projects to completion in fast-paced, customer-facing environments.
