Responsibilities
- Lead quality engineering efforts across multiple agile teams and enterprise programs.
- Define and enforce enterprise testing strategies, quality standards, automation guidelines, release readiness criteria, and best practices.
- Lead and mature the Automation Center of Excellence, including framework governance, reusable assets, tool selection, and adoption roadmaps.
- Architect and maintain enterprise test automation frameworks for web, API, mobile, backend, database, data integration, and batch systems.
- Drive AI-assisted test case generation, test data generation, self-healing automation, defect analysis, test maintenance, and risk-based testing.
- Own test planning, estimation, execution tracking, defect management, traceability, release sign-off support, and production readiness assessment.
- Drive in-sprint automation, shift-left testing, CI/CD quality gates, and continuous testing practices.
- Oversee functional, regression, integration, API, performance, security, accessibility, and data validation testing.
- Generate QA KPIs, automation metrics, quality metrics, release health indicators, dashboards, and executive status reports.
- Track automation coverage, defect trends, leakage, aging, escaped defects, traceability, automation ROI, sprint quality, and quality-gate compliance.
- Mentor SDETs and QA engineers and collaborate with product owners, architects, engineering leads, DevOps, business stakeholders, and vendors.
- Evaluate AI testing tools and establish responsible AI guidelines covering security, privacy, data protection, accuracy checks, and human review.
Requirements
- 10–15 years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, test automation, and test management, with significant exposure to financial systems.
- Strong programming expertise in C#, Python, or Java.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, and Appium.
- Advanced API testing and automation experience with Postman, REST Assured, Karate, or similar tools.
- Deep knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling such as Jenkins, TeamCity, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.
- Strong SQL and database validation skills for financial reporting flows and data reconciliation.
- Experience with test and defect management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Xray, Zephyr, ALM, or equivalent platforms.
- Experience producing QA KPIs, executive dashboards, release reports, and quality trend analysis using Power BI, Excel, Jira dashboards, or Azure DevOps analytics.
- Hands-on experience or strong exposure to AI-based test automation solutions and AI-assisted engineering tools.
- Experience leading QA or SDET teams, Automation CoE initiatives, enterprise quality transformation, or quality engineering workstreams.
- Ability to design scalable, maintainable, reusable, and observable automation solutions and testing strategies for large-scale applications.
- Strong stakeholder management, troubleshooting, communication, mentoring, reporting, and risk-management skills.
- Preferred exposure to Snowflake, DBT, Fivetran, Salesforce, Adobe AEM, cloud platforms, data platforms, JMeter, LoadRunner, or k6.
- Preferred experience in investment management, wealth management, capital markets, banking, or other financial-services environments.
- Preferred bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
