Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Flow, and other Salesforce technologies.
- Gather requirements with business analysts, stakeholders, and development teams and translate them into technical solutions.
- Participate in software design, coding, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, debugging, and code reviews.
- Build scalable Salesforce applications and integrate Salesforce with external systems using appropriate integration technologies.
- Use Flow and declarative configuration effectively while extending solutions with code when needed.
- Collaborate with developers, administrators, QA testers, and cross-functional teams to deliver projects.
- Monitor Salesforce releases and recommend enhancements to development processes and applications.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II certification.
- Minimum of 10 years of general work experience.
- At least 3 years of experience developing Lightning Web Components and Visualforce pages.
- Full-stack engineering experience involving database development and integration, including 3 years deploying Salesforce production enterprise applications.
- Strong Salesforce platform expertise, Apex proficiency, and experience with declarative tools such as Flow or OmniStudio.
- Experience with AWS Connect APIs, the Salesforce CTI adapter, and Omnichannel configuration or APIs.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Salesforce integration patterns, REST APIs, and SOAP APIs.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a Government Public Trust Clearance.
- Ability to pass Cherokee Federal pre-employment qualifications.
- Preferred qualifications include public-sector experience, multiple Salesforce implementations, deep Flow expertise, OmniStudio development experience, and experience with version control and CI/CD pipelines such as Harness.io.
