Responsibilities
- Build and refine core infrastructure for creating, training, evaluating, deploying, and managing machine learning models and pipelines.
- Collaborate with Jira, Confluence, and other product teams to solve ML infrastructure and architecture challenges.
- Curate ML datasets, fine-tune open-source large language models, and enable access to proprietary LLMs.
- Lead projects from technical design through launch and partner across engineering teams on company-wide initiatives.
- Write and review code, documentation, and bug fixes while mentoring junior team members.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building machine learning and AI infrastructure, platforms, or systems.
- Proven end-to-end ML lifecycle expertise covering data engineering, model serving, deployment, and monitoring.
- Extensive experience designing scalable, fault-tolerant, high-performance distributed systems for machine learning.
- Good proficiency in Python and familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- Experience implementing MLOps, automation, and continuous training, deployment, and monitoring pipelines.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and AI/ML services; Spark, Ray, or Dask; ML performance optimization; and generative AI, LLM fine-tuning, or RAG systems.
- Preferred: familiarity with Go, Java, or Scala.
