Responsibilities
- Develop, design, test, and implement full-stack software applications across multiple platform architectures.
- Create technical specifications and flowcharting logic connecting front-end components with backend database layers.
- Perform unit testing, analyze code, and apply corrective measures for deficiencies.
- Support infrastructure standards, data monitoring controls, and PCI security compliance.
- Participate in client-facing technical meetings, joint venture discussions, and vendor partnership teams to define system architecture approaches.
- Estimate billable hours and project resource requirements while mentoring and training peers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business/Management Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 4 years of professional experience in full-lifecycle software coding, systems design, multi-platform development, and data analysis.
- Advanced mastery of at least one front-end or back-end environment and functional knowledge of enterprise languages such as Java, Python, .NET, or COBOL.
- Hands-on experience with external web services, enterprise API integrations, relational schemas, and NoSQL databases.
- Ability to resolve broad technical issues with limited day-to-day instruction and evaluate problems to select appropriate methodologies.
- Six or more years of professional engineering experience and production experience with IBM Rational Tools are preferred.
