Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of Salesforce Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Omni-Channel, and related technologies.
- Own complex technical initiatives spanning Salesforce, backend services, integrations, and cloud infrastructure.
- Drive architecture decisions and engineering practices focused on operational excellence, performance, resilience, security, compliance, and observability.
- Collaborate with product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Mentor and influence engineering teams through design reviews, pair programming, and architectural guidance.
- Integrate emerging AI-powered development tools and automation into the software lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in software engineering principles.
- 12+ years of hands-on software development experience designing and operating large-scale, production-grade systems.
- Advanced expertise in Salesforce Service Platform technologies, including Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Agentforce, Omni-Channel, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Omni Studio, and Salesforce Shield.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce integration patterns using REST, Bulk APIs, Platform Events, Streaming APIs, and middleware.
- Strong foundation in distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and microservices, preferably with AWS.
- Experience building scalable, reliable, and high-performance applications with strong operational practices.
- Experience with Copado or Harness integrated with Salesforce.
- Knowledge of observability, application security, compliance, and performance optimization.
- Exposure to AI-assisted software development, testing, and code review.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II, Service Cloud Consultant, Application Architect, System Architect, or Salesforce Certified Technical Architect credentials are preferred.
- Additional enterprise Salesforce technical leadership experience and expertise integrating AI capabilities safely are preferred.
