Base Salary
$244k - $336k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and own Okta's Cloud Platform architecture.
- Lead the architecture for Kubernetes and EKS.
- Elevate Okta's AI platform by partnering with AI architects.
- Drive multi-cloud strategy and workload placement decisions.
- Serve as the technical anchor for the Cloud Platform Engineering team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with product and compliance requirements.
- Design cloud-native solutions for air-gapped environments.
- Architect foundational Kubernetes designs within AWS GovCloud sandboxes.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on cloud infrastructure experience.
- Proven experience designing and operating Kubernetes and EKS at scale.
- Experience architecting infrastructure for AI and machine learning workloads.
- Strong cloud security background with compliance framework experience.
- Solid understanding of enterprise identity and access management patterns.
- Fluency in Infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
- Demonstrated ability to influence without authority.
- Active U.S. TS/SCI security clearance.
