Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with development, production, and design teams to identify bugs and improve product quality.
  • Define and execute test strategies for the embedded game team.
  • Evaluate the game from a player’s perspective and identify opportunities to improve the player experience.
  • Write and communicate testing progress and status to managers and team members.
  • Champion quality using a player-first approach.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent industry experience in an embedded environment, preferably in Quality Assurance.
  • Experience with testing and defect-tracking software, preferably Jira.
  • Experience writing test documentation, including test cases and test plans.
  • Experience testing across different gaming platforms.
  • Understanding of white-box, gray-box, and black-box testing practices.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and stages, including milestones, sprints, Alpha, and Beta.
  • Strong knowledge of American Football, preferably College Football or College Football 26.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Preferred: experience with Confluence, Miro, Slack, off-site teams, automation, and data-driven testing.
