Responsibilities
- Drive an innovative vision for products and platforms through strategic machine learning solutions.
- Lead the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including design, testing, deployment, and operations.
- Craft high-performance, production-ready machine learning code for a real-time ML platform.
- Collaborate with engineers and scientists to accelerate model development and integrate algorithms into production systems.
- Mentor and develop team members while establishing technical direction.
- Uphold high standards of technical rigor and champion operational improvements.
Requirements
- Degree in mathematics, computer science, or a related discipline.
- 12+ years of experience in the complete software development lifecycle.
- 7+ years of programming experience, preferably in Python or Java.
- 5+ years of experience in designing large distributed systems on cloud platforms.
- Experience with distributed data and ML technologies like MapReduce, Spark, and SageMaker.
- Experience as a mentor or tech lead in an engineering team.
- Adept at solving complex and ambiguous problems.
