Base Salary
$88k - $203k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and code software solutions addressing complex business needs.
- Build and maintain containerized applications, container images, and CI/CD pipelines for deployment to Red Hat OpenShift.
- Deploy and run applications on OpenShift while working with platform teams rather than administering the OpenShift platform.
- Use Spark, Trino, Airflow, Iceberg, Kubernetes concepts, Git, and Helm or templated Kubernetes/OpenShift deployments.
- Lead complex problem solving, troubleshooting, technical guidance, and support for colleagues and solution development.
- Oversee technical and procedural documentation and apply modern principles, methodologies, and tools to advance business initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service.
- 5+ years of industry-relevant experience.
- Strong experience building containerized applications, creating container images, and building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience deploying or running applications on Red Hat OpenShift and understanding application-focused Kubernetes concepts.
- Strong experience with Spark, Trino, Airflow, and Iceberg.
- Experience with Git, modern development workflows, and Helm or templated Kubernetes/OpenShift deployments.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
