Responsibilities
- Design and build ABAP Cloud applications embedding LLM-driven intelligence into SAP business processes.
- Implement AI-enabled SAP extensions using RAP, event-driven patterns, and cloud-native architectures.
- Integrate LLMs, embeddings, retrieval pipelines, SAP and non-SAP data sources, enterprise APIs, and AI services.
- Build agentic workflows with tools, planners, memory, orchestration, evaluation loops, prompts, grounding strategies, and fallback logic.
- Develop chunking, indexing, embeddings, context assembly, evaluation frameworks, observability, telemetry, logging, and failure analysis for production-grade AI applications.
- Prototype rapidly, incorporate business feedback, and scale AI solutions into secure, performant, compliant SAP production systems.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Required experience with SAP ABAP Cloud, including RAP, CDS, OData, and clean core principles.
- Hands-on experience integrating LLMs and AI services into applications.
- Experience building RAG pipelines, embeddings, and contextual retrieval.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including design, testing, and CI/CD.
- Ability to translate business problems into AI-enabled SAP solutions.
- Preferred experience with SAP BTP, eventing, APIs, cloud services, agent frameworks, vector databases, search, semantic indexing, enterprise security, authorization, and compliance patterns.
- TIBCO NIMBUS and Business Process Modelling experience are good-to-have qualifications.
