Responsibilities
- Design, build, maintain, and optimize highly scalable and resilient backend components, services, and orchestration.
- Develop API-based integrations and scalable microservices architectures.
- Contribute to system design and provide technical leadership on increasingly complex projects.
- Review functional and technical requirements, identify gaps and limitations, propose simplifications, and communicate with cross-functional teams.
- Support the full software development lifecycle, including product releases, continuous integration, monitoring, alerting, unit testing, and end-to-end testing.
- Take end-to-end ownership and uphold high standards for quality, performance, and resilient architecture.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience delivering and supporting enterprise-ready cloud-based systems.
- Proficiency in Python with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming, system design, networks, and Linux.
- Hands-on experience architecting and developing backend services and scalable microservices architectures.
- Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
- Experience with RabbitMQ, S3, ClickHouse, Airflow, Spark, and Elasticsearch.
- Experience with modern design patterns, performance optimization for cloud and on-premises backend components, and API services with limited functionality or scalability.
- Experience across the full development lifecycle in an Agile, continuous integration, and continuous development environment.
- Understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery, monitoring and alerting strategies, and familiarity with unit testing frameworks and end-to-end testing tools.
- Strong communication, collaboration, initiative, adaptability, and end-to-end ownership skills.
