Responsibilities
- Perform API testing for integrations using tools like Postman.
- Extend and maintain automated test suites workflows and APIs.
- Build API automation frameworks using JavaScript, Java, or Python.
- Test success, failure, and edge-case scenarios for APIs.
- Validate transaction data across APIs and databases using SQL queries.
- Conduct basic load and performance testing for payment APIs.
- Support production deployment validation and monitor transaction success rates.
Requirements
- 5+ years of QA experience with a focus on API and backend testing.
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman and REST Assured.
- Experience in test automation using JavaScript, Java, or Python.
- Knowledge of SQL and database validation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation integration.
- Understanding of HTTP protocols, REST APIs, and JSON.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
