Responsibilities
- Analyze client business problems and design and implement scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Develop, customize, test, and maintain Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, SOSL, Salesforce APIs, Flow, platform events, and asynchronous Apex.
- Design solutions across Salesforce products and clouds based on client and project requirements.
- Build and maintain Salesforce integrations with enterprise applications using APIs, middleware, event-driven architectures, and other integration patterns.
- Apply software engineering practices including object-oriented design, source control, automated testing, code review, and CI/CD.
- Develop software and integration components using JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, C#, Python, or similar languages and frameworks.
- Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform services.
- Develop automated tests, maintain Salesforce code coverage, and ensure solutions are reliable, maintainable, and secure.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, administrators, product teams, clients, and technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Adapt to multiple Salesforce implementations, technical stacks, industries, and client environments.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience developing Salesforce solutions with Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce APIs, and declarative platform capabilities.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language outside the Salesforce ecosystem, such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, C#, or Python.
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce and at least one major public cloud platform, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience designing and implementing Salesforce integrations with external applications using APIs, middleware, event-driven patterns, or other enterprise integration approaches.
- Experience with source control, automated testing, CI/CD, Salesforce DX, and modern Salesforce development and deployment practices.
- Salesforce certifications are strongly preferred, including Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, JavaScript Developer I, or relevant Salesforce Architect certifications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical client stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze complex business and technical problems and design practical, scalable solutions.
- Interest in consulting and ability to work across clients, industries, and technical environments.
