Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build and improve services and tools that manage traffic flow and routing across distributed systems.
- Implement secure service communication patterns, routing controls, and platform hardening measures.
- Deploy, troubleshoot, and improve service reliability in Kubernetes environments.
- Perform profiling, benchmarking, and performance tuning for low-latency, high-throughput systems.
- Use logs, metrics, and traces to investigate production issues and improve operational stability.
- Partner with SRE, platform, and application engineering teams to integrate reliable traffic and networking solutions.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience plus 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Programming experience in Java, C++, or Go, including debugging, data structures, and core concurrency concepts.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, load balancing, and TLS.
- Working knowledge of Linux and distributed systems fundamentals.
- Experience with or exposure to Kubernetes, Docker, and service-to-service networking.
- Familiarity with Envoy, NGINX, HAProxy, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or OpenTelemetry is a plus.

- Base pay is listed at $80,800–$143,600, with potential target bonus, restricted stock units, medical and financial benefits, 401(k) eligibility, PTO, and parental leave.
- The role is remote, and remote roles are not eligible for U.S. visa sponsorship.
