Base Salary
$192k - $256k/yr
Responsibilities
- Embed with internal biotech and science teams and external customers to understand problems and rapidly build production solutions.
- Develop, wrap, and adapt domain-specific tools for molecular modeling, data analysis, and process optimization.
- Deploy custom agentic scientific workflows integrating industrial instruments and data systems.
- Build real-time data pipelines that transform complex scientific data into actionable insights.
- Create intuitive interfaces that make AI/ML capabilities accessible to scientists.
- Architect solutions that scale from proof of concept to enterprise-wide deployment.
- Work autonomously with technical and non-technical stakeholders while taking ownership of customer success.
Requirements
- Background in biology, molecular science, or a related scientific field.
- Experience with data engineering, ETL pipelines, and complex or messy datasets.
- Strong full-stack development skills across backend, frontend, and data layers.
- Outstanding communication skills for working with executives, scientists, manufacturing teams, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to solve ambiguous problems, discover product requirements, and communicate requirements back to the platform.
- Willingness to travel frequently and for extended periods to customer sites.
- Previous customer-facing or consulting experience is a bonus.
- Depth in controls engineering, machine learning, scientific computing, or ML/AI implementation and deployment is a bonus.
- Familiarity with TypeScript and React is a bonus.
