Responsibilities
- Design and develop Java applications and libraries for capital markets technology products.
- Design, build, debug, and operate distributed systems and messaging protocols.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code and participate in code reviews.
- Apply testing, benchmarking, measuring, and profiling to support software correctness and performance.
- Troubleshoot Java applications and collaborate through pairing to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders and keep current with Java development trends.
Requirements
- Experience in server-side Java software development.
- Experience designing, building, debugging, and operating distributed systems.
- Experience designing and evolving messaging protocols and software libraries.
- Experience applying testing to support software correctness and performance.
- Experience measuring, benchmarking, and profiling components and systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, verbal, and communication skills.
