Responsibilities
- Prepare and obtain approval for functional and design specifications.
- Estimate tasks, agree timelines, and contribute to project planning.
- Update and optimize local and metadata models and resolve crisis situations within the assigned area of responsibility.
- Translate business drivers and analytical use cases into data products.
- Conduct code reviews and create coding standards, conventions, and guidelines.
- Suggest technical and functional improvements to add product value.
- Build and operate large-scale, high-performance distributed systems and Kubernetes platforms.
- Manage machine learning workloads and GPU clusters and contribute to infrastructure migrations.
Requirements
- More than five years of experience as a Kubernetes/DevOps Engineer building and operating large-scale distributed systems.
- University degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes and batch schedulers such as Volcano and Kueue.
- Understanding of distributed systems, containerization, and cloud-native architectures.
- Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes workloads such as AWS EKS.
- Proven experience with infrastructure migrations.
- Proficiency in Python and Golang.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Helm.
- Background in observability and monitoring for GPU clusters, including Prometheus and Grafana.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
